In my 13 years in the business world, I have learned a lot about flexibility. But the biggest hurdle for me came after my gestational diabetes diagnosis this year.
When I finally thought the worst (daily nausea and vomiting) was over after seven months, I got this diagnosis. From then on, I had to measure my own blood sugar six times a day. I was forced to change my diet drastically, and still, it was not enough to lower my blood sugar. So I had to inject myself with insulin once in the evening.
It felt like something new was added every day. Honestly, I was overwhelmed every time. I felt like I was alone, even though I knew that gestational diabetes was not that uncommon. But sometimes, you literally can’t see the wood for the trees.
I think I cried more than before. Why? Because I was afraid for my unborn child. I felt like a failure. Why didn’t I take care of my health the years before? Could I have done something differently?
These questions often occupied me. Through my years of coaching experience, I always quickly came to a conclusion: what happened, happened, and I have to look forward and make the best of it. I can use the tools that are available to me now.
Asking myself how I could deal with the current circumstances in a new way and what the new solution was. And that is precisely the approach I have been taking for over a decade. In the business world, I have learned that no day is as you originally plan in. Whether that is in a large company or a one-man/one-woman business.
We all face new challenges that we think are insurmountable at the beginning. If we have never done something before, we don’t know how to react. It’s like learning a language. At school, I had to learn French and English in addition to my mother tongue, German. In the beginning, these languages were incomprehensible, and I didn’t understand the meaning. After more than 20 years of learning French and 15 years of learning English, I have to say that everything comes with practice.
Everything comes with practice. Only sometimes do we not have the opportunities or the capacity to learn everything. What now? Give up?
Unfortunately, that is often the path that many choose. But since you have decided to run your own business, giving up is not the answer. But you don’t have infinite time to learn everything yourself. The beauty of entrepreneurship is that many processes are very similar. No matter what industry, no matter the size of the company.
This is exactly where I want to start. I want to show you that you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. You can and may fall back on proven methods. You can then tailor these methods to your needs, and they will save you a lot of work in your daily business.
You can either do the work yourself or delegate it to an (internal or external) agency. However, delegation can only take place when you know exactly how something has to be done in order to achieve a result. After all, it is your company, and only you know where you want to go.
I would now like to share my experiences in the business world and from my own ventures (graphic design & coaching) with you so that you can take significant steps toward your goals.
What do you need at the moment?
1) I need someone who can answer my questions via text/audio.
2) I need someone who can analyse my processes and give me suggestions for improvement.
3) I need someone to actively work with me on my goals and move me forward.
Offer 1 / The Helpline
You know that Google can help you, but you don’t know where exactly to look and if the results are correct. Sometimes it would just be helpful to have someone who knows about processes and can answer your questions.
For that, I have set up the “Process Helpline”. We will connect via messenger, and you can ask your questions in writing or via audio message, and I will answer them within a six-hour time window.
You can book this as a one-off or a recurring offer.
Offer 2 / Written Process Analysis
You have either just started or already have established processes. Somehow you feel that you are stuck in your processes and are not getting anywhere. If only someone could find the error/improvements. I am exactly the right person for that. I love to analyse and critically question processes.
With this offer, you send me your processes, and you get written feedback on what you can improve or change. My philosophy is that writing is always better than verbal. When you see in black and white what you need to change and how it is easy to implement the necessary steps.
Offer 3 / Individual Coaching
You want to achieve your goals as soon as possible. You just don’t know how or you want someone by your side who actively challenges you and brings you closer to your goals. As a certified life coach, I help you to set and achieve realistic goals using well-founded methods.
This coaching takes place online via Zoom and usually lasts three months. After an initial consultation, I will propose a realistic schedule.
Click here to send me a message, and I will be happy to talk about our potential work together.
